1. Elections of the Councils of the Provinces and Regions

The General Council approved the final results of the elections to the Councils of the following Provinces and Regions: Province of São Paulo (SP): Fr. Julio Endi Akamine - Provincial Rector; Fr. José Elias Fadul - First Consultor; Fr. Reinaldo Aparecido Picolotto, Fr. Odair Calezulato and Fr. José Lino Reinaldo Oliveira - Consultors. The mandate of the new Council will begin on 1 January 2011. Province of Santa Maria (SM): Fr. Lino Baggio – Provincial Rector; D. Edgar Xavier Ertl - First Consultor; Fr. Erno Aloisio Schlindwein, Fr. Clésio Facco and Fr Jadir Zaro - Consultors. The mandate of the new Council will begin on 1 January 2011. Region of St. Vincent Pallotti (UR): Fr. Alejandro Fontana - Regional Rector; Fr. Álvaro Rodríguez - First Consultor; José Carlos de Souza - Consultor. The new Council will begin its mandate on 1 January 2011. Province of the Epiphany of the Lord (NA): Fr. Augustine Varickakal – Provincial Rector; Fr. Mathew Panakal - First Consultor; Fr. Vincent Thottupattu, Fr. Joy Palachuvattil and Fr. Varghese Pullan - Consultors. The mandate of the new Council will begin on 6 January 2011. Province of the Assumption of BVM (BA): Fr. Camilo Simoes - Provincial Rector; Fr. 3. Elections of the two Polish Provincial Coouncils

The General Council approved the results of the elections of the Provincial Councils of the two Polish Provinces: Christ the King Province: Fr. Józef Lasak – Provincial Rector, D. The mandate of this new Commission will last until January 22nd, 2014; its principal tasks involve the promotion and coordination of the Youth apostolate throughout the world, with the spirit of our Founder as its basis. Mediation and Arbitration Commission: the Rector General, having listened to the General Council, has decided to prolong the mandate of the following confreres as the members of the Mediation and Arbitration Commission, until the Consultative Congress of the Major Superiors of 2012,: Fr. On 10 May 2008 the General Council confirmed the final results of the elections to the Provincial Council of the Irish Province of the "Mother of Divin Love" (IR): Fr. Eamonn Monson, Provincial Rector; Fr. John Kelly, First Consultor; Fr. John O'Connor, D. Jeremiah Murphy and D. Michael Irwin, Consultors.
