General Secretariat for the Missions PDF Print E-mail
The General Secretariat for the Missions is an auxiliary body of the General Administration. The task of the Secretariat consists of the coordination and the assistance to the work of the Society in the mission territories. The Secretariat fulfils the function of a bridge between the Pallottine administrative units that exist in the mission territories and the others who work in other parts of the Society. As regards the latter, the Secretariat tries to increase the awareness that all are responsible for the proclamation of the Gospel in the whole world. In every country there exist Provincial/Regional Secretariats for the Missions and they work in collaboration with the General Secretariat for the Missions.

The General Secretariat for the Missions organises every six years a Congress of the Secretaries for the Missions, during which the actual experiences are shared and future activities are discussed.
