| Restoration of the Museum of St. Vincent Pallotti |

During the months of April to July 2007 restoration and conservation work was carried out in the rooms dedicated to the historical memory of St. Vincent Pallotti. This work was necessary for three reasons: to clean the rooms and put the electrical system in order; the conservation of the historical objects that are present; a better environment in order to welcome the visitors. The chapel of St. Vincent Pallotti was cleaned, the electrical wiring was changed and a new layout was given. The historical documentation was borne in mind in an effort to create a vision of the chapel as it was in the time of St. Vincent Pallotti. In the present setting of the chapel all the principal objects present were preserved. The large Crucifix, which had previously been in a glass cupboard, has been placed against the central wall and is supported by the altar. Above it is the painting of God the Father. At either side there is a painting of the Mother of Divine Love and a new painting of St. Vincent Pallotti. The Stations of the Cross remain in the same place. The painting of the Crucifixion has been hung on the wall where the cupboard with the Crucifix had been. Restoration work has been carried out in the room of the Pallotti museum: cleaning and painting, the electrical wiring was changed, as was the illumination of the showcases, and new curtains were hung. The cupboard which contained the Crucifix and the wooden artwork of Our Lady Thrice Admirable, which were in the chapel, are now in this room. Apart from these there have not been other major changes. It is hoped that the renewal and the present reorganisation of these historical rooms of St. Vincent may provide a better welcome for his many followers and for the pilgrims who come to these Pallottine places.
