New formative experience - Rwanda PDF Print E-mail
ButareFrom 17 to 22 January 2010, at Butare (Rwanda), a new formative experience was introduced to about 20 candidates coming from Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, Cameroon and Ivory Coast. The participants included the candidates of Preparatory Formation of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, the novices of the Missionary Sisters of the Catholic Apostolate and the novices of the Schoenstatt Fathers. This formation session was organised in the context of collaboration among the sons and daughters of St. Vincent Pallotti and Fr. Joseph Kentenich. The principle themes were the following: the life of St. Vincent Pallotti and Fr. Joseph Kentenich; Pallottine spirituality and that of the Schoenstatt Movement, history of the foundations and, at the end, relevance of the charisms of the Pallottines and of the Schoenstatt Movement for the world today. Besides, there were also moments of common prayer, meditation and recreation.
At the end, the feast of St. Vincent Pallotti was celebrated with the participation of many UAC members as well as friends of the Pallottines.
