The activity of Saint Vincent Pallotti and his collaborators in Rome embraced different fields and places of apostolic commitment. Here we can mention only a few of them in summary form: assistance to the sick in hospitals, care for the poor and homeless, pastoral care in prisons and of the military, direction of orphanages and homes for the elderly, direction of popular missions and retreats, conferences for clerics and religious, organisation of solemn liturgical celebrations during the Octave of the Epiphany. This wide range of apostolic tasks is evident right up to today in the works undertaken by the Pallottines. The members of the Society take on specific tasks which are suited to their personal capacities and charisms. The important thing is that in the carrying out of their mission they realise the Pallottine charism and want to remain in their Local Communities.
