Episcopal Ordination of Monsignor S |

 The Episcopal Ordination of Mgr. Séamus Freeman, SAC, as Bishop of the Diocese of Ossory, took place in St. Mary's Cathedral, Kilkenny, on December 2nd 2007. Many members of the Union of Catholic Apostolate participated in the ceremony. The General Administration was represented by Fr. Z. Hanas, Vicar General, and Fr. G. Dwyer, Bursar General; Pallottine confreres from the Irish Province and from Italy, Poland and Germany were present. The Pallottine Sisters were represented by Sr. Serena Cambiaghi, CSAC, Superior General of the Congregation of the Catholic Apostolate and accompanied by Sr. Joselia Giuliani, CSAC, and by Sr. Patrice Wales, SAC, and Izabela Swierad, SAC, of the Congregation of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters. A group of lay members of the UAC and of parishioners from the parish of St. Vincent Pallotti, Pietralata, where the new Bishop had worked of late, also participated. Mgr. Diarmuid Martin, Archbishop of Dublin was the principal consecrator and the co-consecrators were His Excellency Mgr. Giuseppe Lazzarotto, Apostolic Nuncio and Mgr. Laurence Forristal, the emeritus Bishop of Ossory.
