The second meeting of the three General Councils of the Core Communities took place on October 8th 2011 in the new General House of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Catholic Apostolate (CSAC) in Via Caio Canuleio, 162, Rome.
Ms. Gabriela Acerbi of the Quinta Dimensione Community, President of the Committee 'Pallottine family in Celebration' thoroughly explained the concrete proposals and the working method of this Committee in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Canonisation of St Vincent Pallotti. Mr Rocco D'Antona, bursar of the Italian National Co-Ordination Council and member of this Committee gave a reflection.
We hope that the Jubilee Year 2012-2013 will lead to spiritual and apostolic renewal in the life of the UAC as a whole and would like to develop the theme of holiness in St Vincent Pallotti.
The three General Councils have given complete approval to the proposals of the Committee 'Pallottine Family in Celebration with regard to the events planned for Rome and in the Church of San Salvatore in Onda, to the various local and common programmes and to financial support.
To facilitate an ongoing exchange of information and news, it is planned soon to create a website dedicated to this event for which an editorial team will be set up specifically.
