On 19 March 2009, the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the Rector General, Fr. Friedrich Kretz, accompanied by Fr. J. Łuczak, participated at the commencement of office of the new Regional Council of the French Region of "Divine Mercy". Almost all the confreres of the Region participated in this meeting. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the new Regional Rector, Fr. Leszek Woroniecki and it was followed by a festive lunch in honour of Fr. Jozef Liszewski, the eldest confrere in the Region. In the afternoon, the Rector General met with the new Council, and on the next day, together with the Regional Rector and his Vicar, a meeting was held with the Local Bishop of Pontoise. We wish the blessings of the Merciful Lord to the new Regional Council.
