The first Official Visitation of the current General Regime to India took place from the 10th to the 22nd of July 2011 in the "Light of Christ" Region (RA), with the process of a possible transformation of the Region into a Province as a backdrop.
After the opening Mass which was celebrated in the Pallottine parish of "Saint John the Baptist" in Kapa, Raipur, the four members of the General Regime set out for different parts of the extensive Indian Region. During the Visitation to the various Local Communities they met all of the Confreres
involved in different apostolic fields (schools, parishes, missions and in formation, health and spiritual centres). The Rector General, Fr. Jacob Nampudakam, primarily visited the Local Communities. The First Consultor, Fr. Adam Golec, and the General Consultor, Fr. Martin Manus, visited Pallottine missionaries in more distant areas. Fr. Markus Reck, the General Secretary, remained in the cities of Raipur and Bilaspur.
For the conclusion of the Official Visitation, the visitators returned to the Regional Headquarters in Amaseoni (Raipur) together with the Regional Council in order to share their various experiences and observations and above all to thank express their gratitude for the friendly welcome of the confreres and for their dedication to the apostolic and missionary life.
