The General Regime held its second 'Tempo Forte' from 10-14th October, 2011 in the Mater Gratiae house of the Sisters of Mary of Refuge at Santa Marinella on the seashore at Tirreno. This precious pause for reflection and planning began with a half day of Spiritual Retreat, led by the General Consultor, Martin Manus. After a year's work the General Regime reflected and evaluated above all the function of the diverse reality of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate: General Administration, the various General Secretariats and Commissions, the Official Visits, the UAC, and the summer courses in the 'Cenacle' in Via Giuseppe Ferrari, in Rome. Another important theme was the examination of the decisions of the 20th General assembly and the spreading of the Post-Assembly Document. Among the future projects were considered: the 50th anniversary of the Canonisation of our Founder, St Vincent Pallotti and the IX Consultive Congress of the Major Superiors, planned for next year in Thurles, Ireland from 14-22nd October, 2012. The meeting closed with a spirit of thanksgiving, dynamism and hope.
