The Continental Meeting of Pallottine Formators in Africa was held from 4 to 9 January 2009 in the Basilica of "Queen of Peace", Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, with the theme: "Ratio Formationis for Africa in the Spirit of the UAC". The thirteen participants coming from Rwanda, Cameroon, South Africa and Ivory Coast discussed the different stages of formation in the light of Ratio Institutionis SAC and made proposals for the coordination and animation of Pallottine formation in the African continent. These proposals will be examined during the Meeting of the Major Superiors of the Pallottine Entities present in Africa, from 12 to 16 January 2009 at Merrivale, South Africa. Fr. Jacob Nampudakam, the General Secretary for Formation participated in this meeting of formators.
